February Favourites 2015

Today I want to share my favourite products from february with you, so here they are:

Garnier Micellar Water

I was over the moon when I discovered this in the drugstore because until recently it wasn’t available in Germany. It works so well for removing my make up and refreshing my skin without irritating my sensitive eyes. A little goes a long way with this too.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter

I love the Body Shop Body Butters in general but this one is particularly nice and satisfies my love for fresh and citrusy scents. It makes my rather dry skin feel baby soft and the smell is just divine. The only downside is that it
takes a bit longer to sink in which I don’t mind too much.

Revlon Lipbutter in Pink Lemonade

This is such a nice everyday colour which makes the lips look nice and glossy while feeling absolutely non sticky on the lips.

Manhattan Khol Kajal Eyeliner in Nude Couture 51D

I love using this on my water line to make my eyes look bigger and more awake without the eyeliner standing out too much. It is quite long lasting and doesn’t irritate my eyes.

Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara

I love everything about this mascara. The slim plastic brush seperates and elongates my lashes very nicely and it only costs about 3,50€
Which were your favourites in february?

A Parcel from Alice

The other day a lovely parcel arrived on my doorstep from my friend Alice (Pretty Wonderful on Youtube and her blog). The things she sent me came in this cool Union Jack box (an old glossybox) which I think is such a nice personal touch as she knows how much I love Great Britain. She also wrote the nicest card. 🙂

Everything was beautifully wrapped and I just had to snap a picture of it before I unwrapped anything.

First off she got me the Facial Scrub, Cleansing and Toning Lotion, as well as the Face Mask from the
Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel range which I had been interested in trying for some time.

She also sent me another Revlon Lipbutter in the colour Pink Lemonade and a Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in Rose Tweed. They both apply like a dream and I really love them.

I also I received a sample of the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner, a super sparkly Barry M glitter topcoat, a Barry M blusher (I don’t own any Barry M blushes yet so I’m very pleased to be able to try one), some Invisibobbles (you know how much I love them from my last favourites post) and last but not least the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (so handy as I just ran out of mine and can’t buy a new one in Germany).

I’m really happy with everything I got so THANK YOU so much Alice. 🙂
I hope my parcel for you will arrive at yours soon and in one piece.

Have you tried any of these products?

Very late January Favourites 2014

Yes I know, January has been over for more than a week now but I thought I’d share my favourites of that month anyway. Better late than never right?

1. L’oreal Professional Expert Silver Shampoo

I heard a lot of good things things about this shampoo and picked it up on a good offer when my other purple shampoo ran out. I like that the bigger size bottle comes with a pump which makes it easy to use in the shower. It smells quite nice too although the scent is a bit more on the manly side. I definitely think that it helps me to keep the yellow tones out of my blond hair and I will repurchase it in the future.

2. The Body Shop Papaya Body Butter

I’m a big fan of the Body Shop Body Butters as they are so moisturising (which my skin definitely needs) and they also smell divine. I prefer putting this on before I go to bed rather than in the morning when I have to go out of the house because it is rather thick and doesn’t sink into the skin that quickly. Definitely one of my all time favourites.

3. MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC15

This foundation was a christmas present from my sister who knew that I had been eyeing it for a while. A full review on it will be up soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.

4. Revlon Colorburst Lipbutter in Berry Smoothie

This was a present from my friend Alice (http://pretty–wonderful.blogspot.com/) who knows that I had been interested in trying the Revlon Lipbutters which aren’t available in Germany.
It’s my go to lip product at the moment because it is so easy to apply, feels and looks great on the lips and it also smells really nice. I’m definitely going to buy more colours next time I get the chance.

5. Bomb Cosmetics French Kiss Clay Mask

Another present from Alice who picked out exactly the right product for me. The mask is made from natural clay mixed with pure geranium and rosemary essential oils which gives it its lovely smell. It dries on the skin ( which isn’t my favourite feeling to be honest) but after washing it off it leaves my skin feeling super soft and nourished. I also think the packaging is really cute too and it looks great in my bathroom which is always a plus in my opinion. 🙂

So there you go. I hope you enjoyed my January Favourites. Please let me know what your experiences with these products are. 🙂

Have a nice evening.
